The Théâtre de Poche’s review: “Screen-Addicted? LOOK UP, AT LAST!”
A show that charms with its humor and its tender, playful musical score.
The indispensable Laurent Montagne chooses the path of gentleness and music to invite young and old alike to look at one another with kindness.
A radiant moment that reminds us of what really matters: looking up, daydreaming, and reconnecting with ourselves. A huge BRAVO!
Radio Chaipas is an old tube radio. A radio that makes sound with light. For years, it has lit up children’s imaginations with fantastic stories. But recently, Radio Chaipas’s frequencies have been getting all mixed up. It’s become completely addicted to screens, to the point where all it can say is “Chaipas.”
So, to help her rediscover her imagination, a somewhat dreamy singer will try to teach her again how to see beyond boredom. But with all these screens around them, will they succeed?
"Addicted to Screens" is a journey where stories are truly brought to life (like that of the Closet Tamer, Gaspard the Mushroom…A deep dive into the heart of children’s imaginations, where even grown-ups will, for a few moments, have to turn off their screens.
