Nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the foothills of the Languedoc, the Thau Archipelago forms a unique region centred around its lagoon, the largest in Occitanie. Several towns make up this destination, each with its own distinct character: shellfish-farming ports, a spa resort, wine-growing villages, port towns and garrigue hamlets. Here, the sea meets the lagoon, oyster tables complement the local vineyards, and cycle paths link the villages to the shores.
