CINÉ ART

Cin%E9 Art is a monthly event featuring a short lecture followed by a screening of a film about an artist's life. This month’s program: *Sapiens: The Dawn of Art* This film explores the origins of art, and for the first time, the investigation is conducted on a global scale. Through the insights of leading researchers in their fields— archaeologists, prehistorians, anthropologists, and artists, we discover the most exceptional technologies, works of art, and sites from the crucible of human expression. By visiting some of the most famous prehistoric sites (Lascaux, the Chauvet Cave, Foz C%F4a, and the island of Sulawesi), as well as in the museums and research centers where these artifacts are preserved, we trace the history of art back to its earliest forms of representation.
