Description
Handi-Actions Cap34 and the Quai des Lumières cinema invite you on Friday, October 9, 2026, to an evening dedicated to National Caregivers Day? An evening to learn, share experiences, ask questions, and discuss the realities faced by families affected by disability. Two highlights: a legal presentation at 6:30 p.m. and a screening of the film “Ulysse” by Laetitia Masson at 8:30 p.m., followed by a discussion.
6:30 p.m. ? Legal Presentation and Social Buffet
Maître Annabelle Faurens will present the legal and administrative aspects of the transition to adulthood for people with disabilities—including guardianship, curatorship, family authorization, rights, and procedures. A casual buffet will then provide an opportunity to continue the discussion in a warm and welcoming atmosphere before the screening.
8:30 p.m. ? Screening of the film “Ulysse” and discussion
“Ulysse” by Laetitia Masson—starring Élodie Bouchez, Romane Bohringer, Stanislas Merhar, Gringe, and Alphonse Roberts—is a film selected for the Cannes Film Festival. The screening will be followed by a discussion featuring Richard Martin, head of the ATO department at UNAPEI 34, and parents of young adults with disabilities: Siham, mother of Anas (18), and Fanny Chappe, president of Handi-Actions Cap34 and mother of Luka (18).
