CONCERT IN CHORUS : CHOEUR DE CHAMBRE A CAPPELLA

For the seventh consecutive year, the InChorus ensemble will fill the town of Mèze with the sound of their voices during the All Saints' Day school break, from Sunday, October 18, to Friday, October 23, 2026. The InChorus ensemble consists of 25 young singers on the path to becoming professionals who perform a cappella. Each year, professionals and amateurs come together around a different program to fill the historic venues of Mèze with their voices: the Chapelle des Pénitents, the Conservatory, and the Capitainerie. Unique and rarely heard sounds fill these spaces for a week. An original approach: the InCursions Beyond the quality of the repertoire on offer, it is this original approach—which allows everyone to participate in this concert—that makes InCursions an unexpected highlight in the musical landscape. Come step inside their workspaces and creative studios—a rare invitation to get a behind-the-scenes look at a vocal residency of the highest caliber. “Path of Miracles” by Joby Talbot: a regional premiere The 2026 edition features a unique repertoire, a journey through diverse worksfrom the 20th and 21st centuries, and the regional premiere of Joby Talbot’s masterpiece “Path of Miracles,” inspired by the Camino de Santiago. The Grand Recital %C0 At the conclusion of the InCursions, the 25 choir members and 40 trainees will come together to present a grand recital at the%Saint-Hilaire Church in M%E8ze, under the artistic direction of Pascal Adoumbou and guest conductor Louis Gal. Melodies from far-off lands, ranging from classical to spiritual, brought to life by young, talented, and passionate choristers striving for excellence. Proceeds from the concert will be donated to the restoration of the Chapel of the Penitents.
