EXPOSITION DES SCULPTURES DE VALÉRIE DAYRE

From August 19 to 26, 2026, the Church of Saint-Hippolyte in Loupian will host an exhibition of sculptures by Valérie Dayre. This artist studied for several years under Valentina Zeilé (a multiple medal-winning artistand a guest of honor at the Salon des Artistes Français at the Grand Palais), who instilled in her a passion for and high standards in the study of the live model. She continued her training with Martine Acquaviva, a ceramic artist who supported her in her creative freedom. Valérie works primarily with clay and seeks, through her sculptures, to explore the secrets of her subjects. Attentive to their inner lives, she seeks out the emotion and light that dwell within them. She enjoys reflecting the tenderness of human connection through her groups of figures, sometimes inspired by major religious figures. Open from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Opening reception on Wednesday, August 19, at 6:30 p.m.
