La Baleine Rouge and the association Le Retour des Troubadours invite you on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a new edition of "Poisson-Chat & Mots Amers"— poetry and literary gatherings hosted by Dominique Aussenac. Presentation of the latest issue of *Le Matricule des Anges*, a sharing of summer readings, a meeting with poet Marie-Agn%E8s Salehzada, a discussion on the poet Jacques R%E9da led by Philippe Aubin, and a potluck meal to keep the camaraderie going.
Marie-Agn%E8s Salehzada: Poet of Both Shores of the Mediterranean
What is striking about Marie-Agn%E8s Salehzada is her gentleness. A gentleness in her voice, her gestures, her gaze, and her writing. Her sensitivity. Her dreams of here, of elsewhere, of both shores of the Mediterranean, of Africa, of the East. Poet and host of the program “Jardin d’Isis” on Radio FM Plus in Montpellier (Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., focusing on poetry, literature, and other art forms), a member of the Maison de la Poésie Jean Joubert in Montpellier and of the Voix de l’Extrême Poésie et Culture, she has published in numerous journals and anthologies— six collections of poetry between 2007 and 2024.
Philou’s Column—on the Poet Jacques R%E9da
Philippe Aubin, known as Philou, presents his column focusing on the work of the poet Jacques R%E9da— poet, essayist, and jazz critic, one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary French poetry.
