The Montaigne multimedia library is located in the centre of the new Les Pielles EcoQuartier. Overlooking a large esplanade and covering 3,000 m² and 4 floors, the building features elegant Mediterranean architecture and offers residents of Frontignan, Vic La Gardiole, Mireval and the Bassin de Thau a cultural experience in a friendly atmosphere with both open spaces and more intimate areas: a games library, auditorium, multimedia area, entertainment (concerts, etc.) and a terrace with sun loungers and a stunning view of the old salt marshes and lagoons. As this is the city that hosts the Festival International du Roman Noir (FIRN), there is naturally an extensive stock of noir fiction. 72,000 items to borrow or consult on site including books, films, music and games.
