Description

The Marta Jazz Club invites you to an exceptional evening of jazz at the Brasserie Saint-Clair, on the quays of Sète. American saxophonist Brad Leali will take the stage as part of a trio, in the intimate and warm atmosphere characteristic of jazz clubs. Brad Leali: An Exceptional Saxophonist A native of Denver, Colorado, Brad Leali is a professor of jazz saxophone at the University of North Texas. His career has taken him to the orchestras of Harry Connick Jr. and Count Basie. His playing draws on the sounds of Cannonball Adderley and blends jazz, gospel, and R&B in a style that is both lyrical and captivating. The New York Times describes him as “among the most expressive and captivating.” A top-notch trio Brad Leali is joined by Sébastien Falzon on the organ and Mike Santanastasio on drums for an evening of organic jazz and swing until 11:30 p.m. Dinner will be available on-site before the concert; please make a reservation in advance by calling 06 82 25 51 96. Support live performances that respect the status of freelance artists: the musicians performing at the Marta Jazz-Club each receive an artist’s fee that covers their compensation and social security contributions (including health insurance and retirement contributions). Royalties are paid to SACEM. For you, the audience, this is the best way to ensure a future for jazz in France.
