Digital accessibility Non-compliant

Accessibility Statement

The Thau Archipelago Tourist Office is committed to making its website accessible to all, regardless of the equipment used, browsing methods or any disabilities, in accordance with Article 47 of Law No. 2005-102 of 11 February 2005 on equal rights and opportunities, participation and citizenship for people with disabilities.
This statement applies to the website archipel-thau.com. It was drawn up on 23 October 2026 and will be updated following each significant stage of the process.

Compliance status

The archipel-thau.com website does not comply with the General Framework for Improving Accessibility (RGAA), version 4.1.
To date, no comprehensive compliance audit has been carried out in accordance with the RGAA’s official methodology. We are therefore unable to provide a compliance rate. In the interests of transparency, the website is declared non-compliant pending this audit.

 Planned actions

A process of improvement is underway:

  • an accessibility audit to be carried out by a specialist service provider on a representative sample of pages and features (scheduled for 2027);
  • drawing up a prioritised action plan based on the audit results;
  • drafting of a multi-year accessibility roadmap (spanning three years) and an annual action plan, which will be published on this page;
  • gradual correction of content (text, images, links, PDF documents) and technical elements, with the support of our web service provider;
  • training for the teams responsible for writing and publishing content;
  • taking accessibility into account in every development of the website (new template, new section, redesign).

Content that may present difficulties

Pending the audit, certain elements may cause problems for some users, for example:

  • images without suitable alternative text;
  • downloadable documents (brochures, guides) that are not compatible with screen readers;
  • insufficient colour contrast on certain text or buttons;
  • limited keyboard navigation on certain menus, carousels or filters (particularly the calendar);
  • link labels that are not very clear out of context (‘Find out more’);
  • a heading hierarchy that is sometimes inconsistent;
  • videos without subtitles or transcripts.

These issues will be analysed and rectified as and when necessary.
