Description
A First-of-Its-Kind Contest Featuring Cooked Oysters
Organized on Allée Thomas-Bessière, this contest will put the creativity of amateur chefs to the test as they come together around a product emblematic of the region— the oyster from the Thau Basin. Participants must submit an original recipe featuring cooked oysters and compete for the very first world title in this category. Registration is free, limited to 20 teams, and open online on the City of M%E8ze’s website until September 11, 2026.
A Festive Atmosphere Surrounding the Championship
During the championship, the public can enjoy food, wine, and local products, as well as live music provided by the band OCSO, between the Yves-Piétrasanta Esplanade and the Thomas-Bessière Promenade.
