Description
A preserved natural site on the heights of Sète
Mont Saint-Clair rises to a height of 175 metres, overlooking the town of Sète, the Mediterranean and the Etang de Thau. Halfway between the sea and the lagoon, the Pierres Blanches state forest is one of the few wooded areas on the Hérault coast? a massif of pines, kermes oaks and typically Mediterranean garrigue.
An area for the whole family
Tables and benches are set up in the shade of the pines, facing the forest. A simple, authentic space, ideal for a stopover during a hike or a family outing on the Mont Saint-Clair trails.
Starting point for hikes
The Pierres Blanches picnic area is a natural starting point for exploring Mont Saint-Clair's signposted footpaths, including the GR linking the heights of Sète with the Cimetière le Py and the Corniche.
