The Thau Archipelago is a vibrant region, nestled between the lagoon, vineyards and the Mediterranean, shaped by human expertise and natural balances that it is our responsibility to preserve. In the face of today’s environmental and societal challenges, the Thau Archipelago Tourist Office has chosen to promote a form of tourism that takes its responsibilities seriously.

Committed to a concrete CSR approach, the office places sustainable development at the heart of its strategy: protecting the environment, promoting local supply chains, soft mobility, four-season slow tourism, and quality of life for both residents and visitors. Not merely for show, but as a genuine guiding principle to build, together with all local stakeholders, a destination that lives up to its true potential.

Respect for our environment and natural resources; taking our customers’ expectations into account; promoting sustainable transport options in the region for both residents and tourists; and developing a model of consumption based on local supply chains.

Our aim is to work with the destination’s stakeholders to develop a tourism offering that respects our environment whilst taking into account economic and social requirements and the desire to promote ‘four-season’ slow tourism.

The Archipel de Thau Tourist Office is committed to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), a genuine approach to progress that integrates sustainable development issues into its strategy, action plan and all its internal practices, as well as at the destination level.
