The aim of the “Voiles Auriques” association is to promote traditional sailing in Sète while helping to conserve the area’s marine heritage by preserving old sailing ships.
The sailing boat: A pilot boat built in Norway in 1940 by the famous naval architect Colin Archer, fully restored in the traditional way.
- Half-day or full-day sailing trips offshore or on the Étang de Thau lagoon.
- Night-time activities: “Sous le Théâtre de la Mer” VIP excursions when a concert is being held.
Other activities: Participation in sailing events and demonstrations in Sète (Saint Pierre, Escale à Sète, local gatherings of old sailing ships, offshore rallies for prestigious boats, organisation of mixed sailing/introduction to microlighting events, etc.).
