Running along the old railroad track that follows the northern shore of the Étang de Thau, this greenway connects Balaruc-le-Vieux to Mèze over a distance of nearly 10 km. At the start, you’ll cross the Crique de l’Angle, a protected natural site where the trail runs right along the water’s edge: seagulls and flamingos are often spotted here.
In Bouzigues, briefly leave the greenway to visit the village and its harbor, a postcard-perfect scene: people jostle to sample oysters in the small restaurants overlooking the oyster beds. The greenway then continues slightly higher up, with a view of the oyster beds stretching as far as the eye can see, all the way to Loupian and then Mèze, with its harbor and beach.
