The museum was opened on 12 June 1993 and is located inside the barracks. The aim of the museum is to preserve the heritage of the fire and rescue services through the ages. A large number of objects collected over many years are on display In a 200 m2 room: helmets, hand pumps, uniforms, diplomas, engravings, period documents, model cars and more besides.
