In the heart of the city, the Pierres Blanches public forest with its 20 hectares of pine trees and with 700 plant species, some of which are extremely rare, has numerous hiking paths with extraordinary views over the Mediterranean, the Etang de Thau and the lido – the slender coastal strip that separates the Etang de Thau from the Mediterranean.
On a clear day, the Pyrénées and Mount Canigou can be seen from here. Spectacular!
