Set amongst lagoons, scrubland, mountains and coastline, the Thau Archipelago is home to a mosaic of natural areas of great ecological richness. Natura 2000 sites, unspoilt beaches, wetlands, the Gardiole hills and the lagoon shores all provide refuges for typical Mediterranean flora and fauna. Places to be explored with respect, to better understand the fragility of these environments and the work being done to preserve them.
