Since his participation in the Supports-Surfaces movement in the 1970s, Daniel Dezeuze has never ceased to question the constitutive elements of painting and artistic creation. Using the simplest and most diverse materials, from misappropriated objects to assemblages of discarded materials, the artist renews the objects of an unflagging curiosity and creates disturbing works, a contemporary poetry of fragility.
