Spontaneous and melodious, Les Steadies—a six-piece Rocksteady/Reggae band from Montpellier—bring this legendary Jamaican style from the 1960s back to life. At the heart of the group is an exceptional trio of musicians and vocalists who passionately embody their musical world: Margot Almi (bass/vocals), Marie-Nicole Leborgne (vocals, small percussion), and Caroline Lavina (guitar/vocals). Together, they form the essence of the Steadies, blending vocal harmonies with diverse influences and reggae rhythms. Inspired by the infectious energy of Toots and the Maytals and Alton Ellis’s “Love Themes,” they blend nostalgia, humor, and imagination.
