A heritage revival in the heart of Sète,Concert de renaissanceThree Sète organists will take to the podium to rediscover the sounds of the instrument, joined by lyrical artists, instrumentalists and a choir for a program designed as a dialogue between the sacred and the universal.Three organists, a choir and opera singersThe concert will feature three organists with complementary backgrounds:Alain Cahagne - titular organist of the Décanale Saint-LouisEmmanuel Arakélian - guest concert organistMarie-Cécile Cahor Micalet - teacher at the Conservatoire de SèteThey will be joined by opera singers and instrumentalists Johann Soustrot, Frédéric Michelet and Amandine Sanchez, as well as a Sète choir directed by the composerthey will be joined by a Sète choir directed by Jean-Michel Balester, Chapel Master of the Décanale Saint- Louis, in a program alternating classical pieces, Euzet compositions and contemporary works. The ensemble will offer a sensitive reading of the history of the organ, as an echo between past and present.
