Far from being a mere backdrop, Virginia Woolf?s sea offers a model for representing and understanding human existence. Crossing philosophical precision with poetic and maritime experience, this lecture shows how the author uses the sea as a structure that reflects lived existence. Saturday June 6, 10 a.m.: Sophrology workshop, led by Corinne TartièreSophro-baladeAfter a time of exchange and presentation of sophrological practices, participants will be offered an outdoor session. The aim is to reconnect us with our bodies and the elements around us. It will be followed by a time for sharing your experience of the session. Palais consulaire Friday June 12, 6 p.m.: Club Chanson, hosted by Joël Allain, featuring sea chanteys, including Marseilles, Saint-Tropez, Narbonne and Sète, of course... All the singers are on hand to entertain you, make you dream and, why not, get you humming along.
