Miquèu Montanaro, an emblematic figure on the Occitan music scene, is an insatiable composer and multi-instrumentalist with over forty albums to his credit. An unconventional drummer, he also plays the accordion, various flutes and many other curiosities. He likes to multiply collaborations and encounters, while evolving in different musical genres, sometimes in improvised music, world music, chanson, new traditional music, early music or chamber musicHis new opus: Mar - Simfonia MaritimaThis project, at the crossroads of music, poetry and performance, explores the soul of the sea in all its duality: a space of freedom and reverie as much as a merciless frontier. Accompanied by the album Mar, this work stands out as a total sensory immersion, where words, sounds and emotions intertwine to draw a timeless and universal maritime landscape. By blending poetry, music and innovation, Miquèu Montanaro offers an experience where, like the sea, art can transport, unite and transform us.
