For several years now, the artist has been engaging in a unique endeavor: improvising on the piano and with his voice based on texts discovered at the last moment. An experience he has had, in particular, at the Maelström Festival in Brussels, a particularly fertile ground for poetic and human encounters.
Through these exchanges, friendships have blossomed, and certain authors have truly captured the artist’s heart, sometimes giving rise to collaborative works. From Brussels to Paris, these encounters have woven a delicate network of artistic connections.
With “Dans les mots des autres” (an album to be released in February 2027), the artist brings together her “melancholy,” her voices in search of themselves, and these literary worlds in an intimate performance driven by piano, vocals, and electronic music. The selected poems become echoes of her own questions, her vulnerabilities, and her hopes.
Little by little, an invisible thread takes shape: one that connects audiences through words, music, and emotion. An invitation to discover how texts from different backgrounds can resonate with one another, harmonize, and reveal a shared vision of the world.
