As part of the Au coin du Doc - L?évasion culturelle cycle, screening of the documentary Chanter à tout prix by Jean-Pierre Vedel (2020, 52 min), preceded by the short film Le chant et nous, made by residents of the EHPAD Les Muscate. The documentary recounts the singular experiment carried out at the Gradignan prison, where Frédéric Serrano directs a mixed choir of male and female inmates? a human and artistic adventure unique in France. The screening will be followed by a performance by the Sète, SAM and CCAS staff choir, directed by Jean-Michel Ballester, and a meeting with opera singers Malika Bellaribi and Michel Ballester. The evening will conclude with a convivial meal.
