Description
This area has an authorised kitesurfing spot during summer. It features a variety of wind directions, mainly coming from the sea (from south-west to south-east), and is a great spot for kitesurfers seeking space to manoeuvre. Freestylers will love it too because the water is often choppy. This spot is not recommended when the wind is coming from the north, as it is gusty and blows out to sea.
The Trois Digues also has a large beach for getting into the water, but watch out for swimmers in summer.
Dominant wind direction: south-east all year round.
Average annual probability of winds under 12 knots: 24%
Average air temperature: 15°C
Recommended level: intermediate or beginner.
