The Archipel de Thau Destination Méditerranée Tourist Office supports the promotion and development of tourism in a unique destination in Occitanie. Our region offers every visitor an authentic and memorable experience, thanks to its lagoon, rich heritage, thermal spas, gastronomy and culture.
On a day-to-day basis, our mission is to showcase the treasures of the Archipel de Thau, support tourism professionals and promote sustainable and responsible tourism. Working alongside local stakeholders, we strive to preserve our exceptional environment whilst enhancing the region’s appeal to tourists.
Our observatory division also contributes to this drive by analysing consumer trends and changes in tourist demographics in order to share data, analyses and indicators that are useful to the region’s tourism stakeholders.
The Thau Archipelago Tourist Office – Mediterranean Destination organises board meetings approximately six times a year, attended by 36 full members.
This is a key statutory meeting to discuss the actions taken and future projects and strategic directions.

Awarded the Green Destinations label in 2025, the Thau Archipelago has been committed for many years to preserving its environment and promoting more sustainable tourism.
