Description

Mas Saint Laurent has a feature found nowhere else in the wine-growing region: its soil. Tens of millions of years ago, dinosaurs used to come here to lay their eggs. The distinctive characteristics of the wines it produces are unique. Mas Saint Laurent began as a small mazet in the late 1800s, built on two hectares of vineyards perched on Montmèze's hill. The Taroux family developed it over five generations. Today, the estate has 35 hectares. Fine Languedoc white wines, Picpoul de Pinet, and from old grape varieties, quality, original reds, whites and rosés. For ten years, Roland Tarroux has also been producing his own olive oil, a blend of several varieties of Languedoc olives.
