The Chapel of Our Lady of La Salette Sète

Perched atop Mont Saint-Clair, the Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette Chapel offers an exceptional 360° panoramic view .

Inside, its modern frescoes from 1952, by Jacques Bringuier, make it a unique place to discover on the Chapel Trail.

The Chapel of the White Penitents Frontignan

Dating from the 17th century, this chapel, formerly a meeting place for the White Penitents, features simple yet elegant architecture.

Today, it houses the Frontignan Municipal Museum.


The Penitents’ Chapel Mèze

The Chapel of the Penitents in Mèze, built in the 17th century, has been altered over the centuries. Currently undergoing restoration (due for completion in 2025), it offers a unique historic setting, with breathtaking views of the Thau lagoon and the surrounding area.


Saint-Hyppolyte Chapel Loupian

The 12th-century Saint-Hippolyte Chapel in Loupian regularly hosts exhibitions, offering a unique setting in which to discover art within a historic setting.

Its Romanesque architecture and peaceful atmosphere make it a hub for culture and heritage, right in the heart of this charming village.

St Peter’s Chapel Montbazin

The 12th-century Saint-Pierre Chapel is best known for its Romanesque frescoes with Byzantine influences. Forming part of the Castrum’s defensive works, it overlooks the village and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area. This building, restored over the years, bears witness to the region’s rich religious heritage.

The Penitents’ Chapel Gigean

Dating from the 17th century, the Chapel of the Penitents in Gigean is situated near the village’s eastern gate, and was probably built on the ruins of the former bishop’s residence.
